        Cyber libel is the act of spreading fake news or false rumor of someone in the internet using our digital devices through social media, blogs and other platforms. Unlike traditional libel, wherein you spread false rumors with your friends in personal. Cyber libel is wherein you spread false information or rumors of someone in the internet and it is very hard to clear the name of someone once it reaches to a wider audience. Those false information can keep spreading from one person to another. Cyber libel can also happen when you create a fake profiles to spread false information. For example, you create a profile like in ZPPSU page that we already unfollow that is not legible page, you create a new account to post false information about the school, bring the name of the school and damaging it and ruining the school reputation can also be a cyber libel act. As well as sharing malicious things that are false information in Facebook and messenger can also be a cyber libel act because you are being an accessory for crime, by spreading false rumors, you become someone who supports the crime. That's why it is important for us to be aware and be vigilant and cautious online and our online interaction. 


        The cyber libel really impact our lives because it is not only us that it affects but also our love ones and family and friends. Victims also feel depression and stress and anxiety because it is very hard to clear their name because cyber libel discourages people from pursuing justice. That's why it needs immediate attention and awareness for us. As well as educate ourselves when it comes to the internet. We need to be cautious in posting and reading information. We need to know if the information is really legible and not spread fake news in the internet because we might get filed a complain that we help the criminal spread the false information. We need to be responsible for our online actions.


        In order for us to fight when it comes to cyber crime, there are some examples like gathering evidence like taking a screenshot and also we can seek legal advice from our lawyers and respond professionally when it comes to our reputation. As well as being aware of our rights because by knowing our rights and the law we can already know how to file a complaint when we experience cyber libel in our lives. We need to be respectful and also be responsible as a digital citizen meaning we are a citizen in an online world and there are also rules and regulations that we should also follow. Like the 10 nettiquete as well as being honest. It is very important to know the consequences of our actions, so that we can be ready for our safety.
